We have become accredited with Persimmon House Builders, the largest house builder in the U.K. We will now receive tenders from them and i’m very hopeful we will be working on one of their projects very soon.
Received a tender from Ian Williams maintenance firm, for a very large traditionally cut roof on the civic centre in Newport. This is the first time we have quoted for this firm, and are delighted to be in communication with this established and reputable company.
Received a tender for Bouyges very large French Construction Company. Formerly Lead Bitter Construction. The tender was for a large comprehensive school in Port Talbot. Unfortunately we were unable to quote due to the requirement for the supply of all materials , doors , ironmongery etc. As a company we are not quite at the stage to be able to supply large amounts of very expensive materials, which is a real shame. But in the next 12 – 18 months i’m sure that will not be the case.
Received 2 tenders from W.R.W. Construction, one being a well being centre in Merther Tydfil and also 134 private apartments is Bristol. W.R.W. are a new contractor to us, and one which we are very hopeful of working with in the near future, should we be successful with our quotations.
Received a reference from Stephen Northan, the multi NHBC award winning Senior Site Manager from Taylor Wimpey, for our work at the Golwg y Mor development of 347 houses at Rhoose South Glamorgan.
Booked four more employees on the SSSTS Supervisors health and safety course, commencing on the 7th & 14th of September.
