We were delighted to support JG Hale Group at their careers event at Ffordd Y Mileniwm, where local sixth form students had the opportunity to learn more about the wide range of careers available in the construction industry. Bringing together professionals from across the supply chain, the event gave students a real insight into what it’s like to work in construction.
Representing Advanced Carpentry Solutions, our Contracts Manager, Paul Evans, shared his own career journey, from starting out as an apprentice carpenter to becoming a Contracts Manager. His experience gave students an insight into the different routes into the industry and the opportunities for progression.
It was fantastic to see so many engaged students asking questions and showing a genuine interest in construction. Their enthusiasm highlighted the importance of connecting young people with industry professionals and helping them understand the opportunities available within the sector.
Working alongside fellow supply chain partners, we were pleased to help showcase the variety of careers our industry has to offer. Events like these play an important role in inspiring future talent and encouraging more young people to consider a career in construction.
