Watkin Jones – New Development Promotion Featuring Local Students’ Artwork

Working in partnership with Watkin Jones, two of our employees recently helped install a collection of banners displaying artwork produced by students from St Mary the Virgin Church in Wales Primary School and Adamsdown Primary School. The initiative formed part of a wider social value programme designed to involve local young people in the development and foster a stronger connection between the project and the surrounding community.

The artwork showcased the creativity and imagination of the students, helping to bring colour and personality to the site while strengthening the connection between the development and the local area. Our team worked closely with the site management team to ensure the banners were installed safely and prominently, allowing the children’s designs to be enjoyed by residents, visitors, and the wider community.

Projects such as this demonstrate how construction and development can create opportunities for meaningful community engagement. We were proud to play a small part in bringing the students’ artwork to life and helping to celebrate their contribution to the project. It was fantastic to see the creativity of local young people displayed so prominently, creating a lasting and positive impact on the site environment.
