One of the most rewarding parts of our job is being able to share our trade with the next generation.
Last week, our team had the pleasure of spending the day at Woodlands High School, delivering a carpentry workshop alongside Yourspace Projects and Careers Wales.
The workshop gave pupils the opportunity to get hands-on, building timber planters while developing practical carpentry skills and working together as a team. Seeing the enthusiasm in every session and the willingness from everyone to get involved made the day a real success.
One of the best things about our trade is that it’s built on sharing knowledge and experience. If the workshop sparked an interest in carpentry, or simply gave the pupils the confidence to try something new, then it was time well spent.
A huge thank you to Woodlands High School, YourSpace Projects and Careers Wales for making the day possible, and to our carpenters, Josh and Harrison, for giving up their time to share their skills and experience.
